Distinguished Lecture Series (held on 07/03/2024): JIMS Kalkaji organized a guest lecture on the topic "Beyond the Billboard" by Shradha Agarwal, Co-Founder and CEO of Grapes, to offer a unique opportunity to delve into the dynamic world of digital marketing and entrepreneurship. The key highlights of the session: ❖ Shradha Agarwal shared her remarkable journey of passion, innovation and Unwavering dedication in reshaping digital landscape. ❖ She offered valuable advice and practical tips to attendees. ❖ Shradha’s engaging presentation style captivated the audience, incorporating fun interaction and humorous anectodes to keep the environment lively and engaging.


Guest Lecture on Interview Preparation (held on 07/12/2023): Humane – The HR Club of JIMS Kalkaji hosted an insightful guest speaker Mr. Puneet Dang, Founder and CEO of EDZER, to help students nail the interviews for any internship or job.  Mr Puneet Dang shared his practical tips and experiences and emphasised on communication skills, behavioural aspects, and industry knowledge. Through this guest speaker session on interview preparation, the job seekers are armed with the knowledge of valuable insights and strategies. By the end of the session we are motivated to be confident and tackle the job search process.

IT CLUB : Infotech



Orientation (held on 07/03/2024): Infotech the IT society of JIMS KALKAJI organized an orientation fun event in the campus to make the new society members familiarize with the society, it was a fun event all the members made new connections, learned new things and got integrated with the society. Through the collective efforts of volunteers and teachers we were able to successfully conduct this event and learn new things. This event helped people to know more about the society, helped in making interaction with core members, gain knowledge and experience from the president and vice president.

GAMING CLUB : VALIANT



BGMI Event (held on 26/09/2023): Valiant - the Gaming Society of JIMS Kalkaji organized a Two Hour long Showdown of the BGMI Event 2023 has concluded. A total of 25 top teams competed in 1 Classic Battle Royale Match for the Prize Pool of 5000 Awarded by our sponsor SKOAR! . The top 2 teams have advanced to the final stage of the match, will be awarded the prize pool.

Call of Duty Mobile Tournament (held on 23/03/2023): Valiant - the Gaming Society of JIMS Kalkaji organized an intra-college Call of Duty Mobile Tournament on 23rd March 2023. The participants competed against each other in the team on a next- gen sports simulation to secure the first position. Overall, the tournament was filled with fun and healthy competition and it played a huge role in giving students exposure to various innovations in the tech industry..


FIFA'22 TOURNAMENT (held on 20/12/2022): VALIANT- the Gaming Society of JIMS Kalkaji organized an intra-college FIFA’22 Tournament on 20th December, 2022. The participants competed against each other on a next gen sports simulation to secure the first position. Overall, the tournament was filled with fun and healthy competition and it played a huge role in giving students exposure to various innovations in the tech industry.


STUMBLE DAY TOURNAMENT (held on 29/11/2022): VALIANT- The Gaming Society of JIMS Kalkaji along with its sponsor, SKOAR SCGC, organized an INTRA COLLEGE TOURNAMENT - STUMBLE DAY on 29th November 2022. The event successfully got a total of 78 registrations from the students of BBA & B.COM (H). The total prize pool was of Rs. 1000. The participants competed and battled each other to secure the first position.


TECH DAY (held on 10/09/2022): VALIANT - the Gaming Society of JIMS Kalkaji in association with its sponsors, SKOAR organized a TECH Day, an offline college Event wherein students were invited to experience an exclusive range of laptops, PS5 gaming consoles, VR headsets and much more. In addition to the event, VALORANT tournament was organized with a prize pool of Rs.10,000. The event saw a footfall of more than 120 students. Overall the event was an enjoyable affair for all the tech savvy and gaming geeks out there..


Stumble Guys Tournament (held on 01/08/2022): Valiant- The Gaming Club of JIMS Kalkaji along with its sponsor, SKOAR SCGC, organized an online INTRA-COLLEGE Stumble Guys Tournament on 1st August 2022. There were approximately around 33 participants. The prize pool was Rs.500 with the first position winner getting Rs.250, second winner winning Rs150, and the third winner getting Rs.100. The participants competed and battled each other to secure the first position..


BGMI Tournament (held on 01/07/2022): VALIANT- the Gaming Club of JIMS Kalkaji along with its sponsor, SKOAR SCGC, organized an online INTRA-COLLEGE BGMI Tournament on the 1st July 2022. There were approximately around 40 participants in teams of 4. The teams competed and battled each other to secure the first position. Overall the tournament was filled with fun and competition. There was a prize pool of Rs 1500.

Kulhad Painting Competition: 27th September 2023 by ALANKRITA, “The Art and Craft Society" of JIMS, Kalkaji On September 27th 2023, Wednesday, an exciting kulhad painting competition and fun activity was organized by ALANKRITA, “The Art and Craft Society of JIMS, Kalkaji”, it took place in the tutorial room from 11:30 AM to 2:00 PM, organized offline. Ekta Sharma commenced the event with an introduction speech outlining the rules. A total of 15 enthusiastic participants joined in, with 8 opting for the competition and 7 for the fun activity. Each participant was provided with a kulhad and allotted 1.5 hours to complete their artwork the judging panel comprised of Ms. Pooja Bisht and Ms. Surbhi Ahuja evaluated the performance.


DO Doodle: 6th September 2023 by ALANKRITA, “The Art and Craft Society" of JIMS, Kalkaji An activity ‘Do Doodle’ was organized by ALANKRITA, “The Art and Craft Society of JIMS, Kalkaji”, on 06th September, 2023 at 12:00p.m. The doodling event was led by Dhavi Sharma, who showcased the art of doodling and its fascinating aspects. There were 37 enthusiastic participants, each participant was provided with A4 size sheet, they were given 2 hours to complete their artwork. The activity proved to be both fun and meditative..


BRILHAR’23; the annual art fest was organized by ALANKRITA, “The Art and Craft Society" of JIMS, Kalkaji The Event started with the Mandala making competition in which more than 30 students from different colleges and universities participated, each participant beautifully depicted their mandala, the event was judged by Dr. Prashant Kumar (HOD BBA/BCOM). After Mandala, the painting competition started in which 15 participants from different colleges participated, the event was judged by Dr. Ruchi Singhal (Associate professor JIMS, Kalkaji). All the participants were very excited for the competition and gave their best to win it. The theme was equality and different opinions of the same were depicted in different paintings. The last competition was Rangoli making in which 9 teams participated and depicted the theme “poverty & illiteracy”. All the participants were very excited for the competition and gave their best to win it. The participants were also given certificates as a token of encouragement. Art Walk: 18th April 2023 by ALANKRITA, “The Art and Craft Society" of JIMS, Kalkaji An art walk was arranged by ALANKRITA, “The Art and Craft Society of JIMS, Kalkaji” on 18th April, 2023 at 11:00AM to National Crafts Museum & Hastkala Academy. It was coordinated by Ekta Sharma (Vice-President) and Tanishq Bhatia for students of BBA/BCOM(H). As the group entered the museum there were few shops including shops of handicrafts, textile, house interior, artwork of various artforms across India. There was a group of people who presented folk dance and a music event. The art gallery includes Bhuta sculptures, folk and tribal crafts, cultic crafts and textile. It gave opportunities to the members to compare and contrast leading to critical thinking skills and allowed students to understand researches, collects, conserves, interprets and exhibits tangible and intangible heritage. Overall, it was a great experience for the students to learn about our culture in an artistic manner.


Face Painting Competition: 20th March 2023 by ALANKRITA, “The Art and Craft Society" of JIMS, Kalkaji A face painting competition was organized by ALANKRITA, “The Art and Craft Society of JIMS, Kalkaji”, the theme for the competition was G20. It was organized on 20th March, 2023 at 12:00p.m. in GCR. The competition was coordinated by Ekta Sharma (Vice-President) and Twisha Gulati (Core Team Head) for students of BBA/BCOM. (H). The event started with an introduction speech by Kriti Sood. She welcomed all the participants for their presence. The event was judged by HOD sir and Ms. Pooja Bisht. The judgement was done on the basis of evaluation of marks given by the judges. The event was full of enthusiasm and engagement. And finally, the event ended with the valuable words of the HOD sir.


BOOSTER: 6thJune 2022 by ALANKRITA, “The Art and Craft Society" of JIMS, Kalkaji An event on “6 days 6 art forms” named as "BOOSTER" was organized by ALANKRITA, “The Art and Craft Society of JIMS, Kalkaji” from 1st June 2022 to 6thJune 2022 at 6:00 p.m. everyday (1 week) on Instagram page of ALANKRITA (@Alankrita_jims) for students of BBA/BCOM(H) 1st, 2nd year to have a fun and engaging learning about different forms of Indian folk art with videos of approximately 1 minute. The event was full of enthusiasm and engagement. The 6 art forms narrated by the students were as follows:

Bollywood Day: 5th May 2022 Noor organized a BOLLYWOOD DAY for the faculties and students of BBA/BCOM(H) 1st, 2nd and 3rd year to have a fun and engaging day with all the students of different batches and faculties. A photographer was also appointed from our society. The day was full of enthusiasm and engagement. Titles of the day were given to the students which were as follows:

Fashion Workshop: 2nd May 2022 Noor organized a workshop on the topic “various fashion topics” for the students of BBA/BCOM(H) 1st,2nd and 3rd year. Speaker for the day was our alumni ROHAN KANDARI of batch 2017-2020 who is a fashion model. He has worked with great names and has been a part of TVC for whatsapp, Samsung, oppo, dlf, etc. The workshop began with a welcoming speech given by Chahat Singh of BBA IV M, thereafter green initiative was presented to the speaker by faculty co-ordinator Ms. Pooja Bisht. The session covered many topics from fast fashion to sustainable fashion, how to do a perfect ramp walk, model profiles etc, followed by a QnA round where students got their doubts cleared and gathered information on fashion. Session was wrapped by a thanking speech.


Ethnic Day : 4th April 2022 Noor organized an ETHNIC DAY for the faculties and students of BBA/BCOM(H) 2nd and 3rd year to have a fun and engaging day with all the students of different batches and faculties.
A photobooth was set up alongside the garden and canteen area for everyone to get their pictures clicked. A photographer was also appointed from our society. The day was full of enthusiasm and engagement. Titles of the day were given to the faculties and students which were as follows:

Intra Society Monologue/ Standup Comedy Competition : 7th March 2022 On 7th March 2022 An intra society monologue/ standup comedy competition was organized as Act it Out’22 by the Theatre Society- Awaaz was held offline, where participants have to register themselves and perform a monologue or a standup comedy for maximum 5minutes. It was a very insightful, fun and learning event. Everybody really enjoyed themselves and exhibit their theater skills. We The winners were announced on the Instagram handle. There was no participation fee. All the participants received the participation certificate. Winner certificate along with vouchers to the top 3 winners.


Open Mic 2022 : 8th-13th February 2022 An online Standup Comedy competition was organized as OpenMic’22 by the Theatre Society-Awaaz, where participants have to register themselves and send a 5minutes standup comedy video.The last date of registration was 08/02/2022 and last date of video submission was 10/02/2022, the results were declared on the Instagram page of Awaaz on 13/02/2022.The winners were decided by members of Awaaz society itself. The participation fee was Rs.60.The event was sponsored by Kribhhuv, Dietzilla, Resin Gallery and the media partner was Navyuk delhi. It was a fun and knowledgeable experience for all the participants. Position holders were rewarded with Rs.200 and Rs.100 cash for first and second position respectively with vouchers, along with winner certificate. All the participants received vouchers, accompanied with participation certificate.


First Dance Competition of 2022 : 25th January 2022 An online Dance Competition was conducted by Zaahir, Dance society of JIMS Kalkaji on 25th January 2022. The competition was bifurcated into two rounds.
Round 1: Blend with the trend. In the first round participants had to post a video of their dance (on any trending music) on Instagram.
Round 2: To be the Winner, be your own Choreographer In the second round participants had to choreograph (no duplicity) their Dance on music of their choice.

Mehfil-E-Qaafila : 23rd January 2022 Jagannath International Management School’s music society Qaafila conducted an Intra-Qaafila Competition “Mehfil-e-Qaafila” on 23rd January 2022. 12 students participated in the event with 1 in Instrumental, 6 in Hindi Singing and 5 in Western Singing. Students enthusiastically participated in a lively interactive event.

Fresher’s Party : 18th December 2021
To welcome its fresh batch of students, JIMS Kalkaji organized Freshers Party on 18th December 2021 in The Ocean Pearl Retreat, Chattarpur. The event saw an enthusiastic involvement of both the freshers and the 2nd and 3rdyears students. The event started with saraswativandana after that chairman sir, director sir and HoD ma’am welcomed all. The event began with performances from 2nd and 3rd year students and then the first round of Mr. and Ms. Freshers started where students had a ramp walk along with the introduction, followed by the second and third round of talents showcasing and Q&A round. The event culminated with lunch and DJ. The winners were as follows:

Online Monologue Competition : 30th October 2021
As part of Vigilance Awareness Week 2021 Theatre Society of Cultural Club conducted an online monologue competition on 30th October 2021. The topic was Anti-corruption. In all, 8 students participated from different colleges. Each contestant wholeheartedly contributed to make the competition tough to be judged. Apart from the enthusiasm distinguished amongst the students, another fact that was observed was that the students also covered a variety of popular characters which was quite beyond belief and praiseworthy.


Online Painting Making Competition : 29th October 2021
As part of Vigilance Awareness Week 2021, the fine arts team conducted an online painting competition on 29th October 2021. The topic was the national symbols of India. The participants were asked to upload their painting along with the pictures/videos of the process on the google form.

Farewell Party : 25th September 2021
JIMS, Kalkaji organized a Farewell Party to bid adieu to the outgoing students of 2018-21 batch on 25thSeptember 2021 at JIMS Auditorium, New Delhi. A series of activities were planned to keep everyone engaged and entertained. It commenced with dance performances, followed by singing performances and a theatre performance. All the dignitaries including the chairman, Director, HOD, faculties & staffs were greeted with titles and plant saplings. Students were given titles, JIMS memento and gifts from junior batches. Harsh Sharma bagged the title of “Mr. JIMS” and DurdanaNaseer was crowned as “Ms. JIMS”. Gifts were also given for categories like Mr. & Ms. Best Dressed. The party ended with refreshments and drinks.


Teacher’s Day : 4th September 2021
For making the teachers feel special, the students of JIMS Kalkaji decided to celebrate Teacher’s day. As to go on with the current pandemic situation, the Teachers Day celebration was done virtually through zoom. The programme was held on 4th September 2021 at 4 p.m. It started with playing a video compilation of photos of teachers followed by many dance, singing and theatre performances by students, which was followed by beautiful speeches given by the students. After that Bolly quiz was arranged for the teachers. This game was enjoyed a lot by every teacher and all teachers participated in the same. Students were cheering them for singing songs and had a lot of fun. The teachers sung songs on student’s request, which was the cheery on the cake.

HR CLUB: HUMANE



Escape Room : (held on 21/10/2023),
Escape Room is an electrifying adventure event that pushed the boundaries of excitement and represented all the HR centric skills in a thrilling way. This unique experience took place on October 21, 2023, at JIMS Kalkaji, drawing students from all backgrounds to test their mettle in an exhilarating, immersive experience.. This event was not just about thrill and entertainment; it fostered skills like teamwork, quick thinking, knowledge, and effective communication. The event consisted of two thrilling rounds. The first round included a quiz covering diverse topics. Out of all the teams best 6 teams were shortlisted for the second Round, The Escape Room. In the second round, all teams were locked together in a single room, they were required to find the way out of the room by solving riddles and puzzles within the given timespan while collaborating with their peers to unlock them. .


JD MASTER : (held on 14/09/2023),
Humane - The HR club of JIMS Kalkaji organized an event ” JD Master ” or Job Description Master. The total number of participants were 16. The participation was individual. In the event all participants were required to create a job description based on a company designation which was assigned to them 2-3 days prior. In the time period of those 2 to 3 days, the participants were to draft a detailed presentation on job description composed of compensation plan, benefits, responsibilities of their assigned role and candidate requirements for the job. On the day of the event, the participants had to present their job description in front of our panel of judges consisting of Dr. Shivani Sharma, Mr. Kartik Dayal and Ms. Shubhangi Sharma, the President of Humane. .


Inlearnship Seminar : (held on 01/06/2023),
HUMANE – THE HR CLUB of JIMS KALKAJI organized an educational event - Inlearnship seminar. The total number of participants in the event was 160. The seminar was conducted to provide students in-depth knowledge about internships and CV building, as internships play an important role in it.
The seniors shared the complete process from looking for the good internships, applying for Internships with the help of different websites, apps, etc to how to get maximum output during the time of the internship. Overall, the students learned a lot about internships and got a roadmap required for landing into their dream companies.


Ship Wreck : (held on 02/05/2023),
The competition gave a situation to the participants in which they were on a sinking ship having only one life jacket. All the participants were given a chance to represent the character they chose and prove why they should be given the life jacket based on how well they proved themselves worthy. The participant who convinced the best was declared the winner.
Overall, the conclusion derived was an experience where all the participants learned to communicate their thoughts, speaking skills, and reasoning skills which helped in personal development. .


Brainstorming Debate On The Topic : ChatGpt and The HR Revolution: FRIEND or FOE (held on 17/03/2023)
Humane - The HR club of JIMS Kalkaji organized a debate on the topic” ChatGpt and HR Revolution FRIEND or FOE.”
The total number of participants is 13.
The debate was held on the pros and cons of ChatGpt and its contribution or hindrances caused by it in the HR Field.
The debate consisted of the pros and cons of ChatGpt through which participants understood its working and its role in the field of H.R. The points discussed during the debate included many such as how an AI also accepts its mistakes and has an appropriate answer to our question. The positives discussed by participants included how AI is going to take over the world, making less room for human errors. It also included how it makes work a lot easier and faster as compared to humans.
The negatives included how human rationality cannot be replaced by software and how Chat GPT is here to stay only for the short run. It also included how Chat GPT will contribute to reducing overall employment in India, if it continues to spread amongst the masses.
The participants ended the debate putting the last argument that if AI gets a higher priority than human resources, then it may affect the overall working of the organization. The students were able to explore both the sides of the topic and eventually understood how Chat GPT can either be a boon or bane depending upon how users use it and to what extent.


HR Session with Alumni (held on 11/01/2023)
HUMANE- The HR Club of JIMS Kalkaji organised an alumni session on 11th January 2023 with Ms. Akansha Bhargav. The session begins with an understanding related to personal experience and journey of the speaker Then, she discussed about what are the industry requirements from all the aspiring candidates. Later, it was proceeded with a brief question and answer round where he gave some important insights about the working of the industry.
This session started with the discussion of various topics concerned, like:
1. How company selects the candidates based on the soft skills, aptitude, brand image of institute and industry ready preferred students.
2. Besides, he gave us overview about the industry’s expectation in terms of Flexibility an Creative Approach along with Integrated Approaches where she explained the importance of having knowledge of every domain.
3. She also focused on the importance of Emotional Intelligence (EI) which is very much important for each and every individual whether it is professional or personal lives.
4. The lessons were given on resume building, do’s and don’ts, various LinkedIn Courses etc. which is very much helpful for the student at this current stage. So, in this way, she tried to cover all the relevant topics about the skill sets required for HR, along with various job roles.


Meme Madness 2.0 (held on 12/12/2022)
HUMANE- The HR Club of JIMS Kalkaji organized a sequel to it’s mega event named Meme Madness 2.0 on 12th December 2022. Here students showcased their humour by making fun memes on any company regarding their loopholes, strategies & tactics. The event consisted of two rounds. In Round 1, the students had to first submit their memes on a Google Form after which the Top 20 memes were shortlisted. In Round 2, participants were provided with a template and one topic on the spot, on which they made memes using them. The ultimate goal of this event is the quest for a meme that is both, relatable and funny. For the evaluation process, emphasis was laid on a candidate’s vision to develop a jocular jewel of a meme.


Group Discussion On Effect of Covid-19 on employee's work-life balance (Held on 28th September, 2022)
The group discussion was held to discuss the pros and cons of the shift in the work culture during the pandemic and how the workforce dealt with the pressure..


Quiz on Human Resource Management (held on 29/07/2022)
Humane - the HR society of JIMS Kalkaji organized a Quiz Competition based on Human Resource Management wherein participant’s subject knowledge was tested.There were 2 rounds in total. The event was organised on a quiz platform, quizizz. Top 8 participants were qualified for Round 2. We received a total of 40 registrations and everyone attended the event with great enthusiasm and spirit.


Webinar on Resume Building(held on 24/06/2022)
The main objective of organising this webinar was to inculcate deep knowledge about crafting a resume amongst students.
Humane - the HR society of JIMS Kalkaji organized a Resume Building Session on 24th June 2022. The webinar was conducted by Mr. Swatantra Saurabh, Co-Founder, Nupins Technology [IT Services and IT Consulting company] wherein students were guided on how to craft a powerful resume in order to stand out from competitors and get better job prospects. It focused on the enhancement of the resume writing skillsets because even if you have tonnes of experience, it won’t help if you can’t express & convey your professional learnings in a CV. Overall session was quite engaging and 80 participants attended the event with great enthusiasm and spirit.


‘Eccentric’ (held on 20/04/2022)
“HUMANE” The HR Club of JIMS KALKAJI organized an event named ‘Eccentric’ under RAYONNER- the Management Fest of JIMS Kalkaji, 2022 wherein two rounds were held. In the first round, the students were asked to prepare presentations on the designated job profile, and based on that cross-questioning was done.Round 2 consisted of extempore in which qualified students were asked to prepare on a given HR topic within 2 minutes of preparation time. A total of 30 registrations came from different colleges namely, JIMS Vasant Kunj, GL Bajaj, Delhi University, NDIM, etc. There were 16 participants on the day of the event. The winners received trophies, certificates, and a cash prize of Rs.2000 and Rs.1000 for the first and second positions respectively. Overall it was a successful, engaging, and knowledgeable event with immense passion and enthusiasm amongst students. Students learnt about different aspects required while giving a presentation like body language, communication, etc. They also learned about various HR topics and how recruitment for different positions in an organization takes place.

‘Corporate Convention’’ (held on 16/02/2022)
“HUMANE” The HR Club of JIMS KALKAJI organised its 1st offline event which was a PPT making competition- “CORPORATE CONVENTION”, wherein theparticipants were required to present a small PPT on the HR policies on anycompany. Voluntarily partcipants could choose any company whether Indian or Global .They were required to form a pair and give the presentation. We received atotal of 13 teams. Overall this was a very successful, engaging and aknowledgeable event with immense passion and enthusiasm amongst students.Students were able to learn about how to give presentations in front of people.They were also able to learn about HR policies of different companies which is akey factor in the success story of those companies.The students came to know about many new things related to HR Policies of different companies. Also the students came to know what all aspects are important while giving a presentation like your body language, your understanding about the PPT.Here are our winners for the competition

‘Voice of Brains’ (held on 30/01/2022)
“HUMANE” The HR Club of JIMS KALKAJI organised an online competition- “THE VOICE OF BRAINS”, wherein the participants were required to showcase their debating as well as reasoning skills. All of them were given a situation from the corporate world where they were asked to choose their side with proper reasoning and valid points. They were required to form a pair, where one had to speak in favour of the fresher and the latter for the experienced one.Overall this was a very successful, engaging and a knowledgeable event with immense passion and enthusiasm amongst students. Students were able to learn about how to deal with the situation in the corporate world. Furthermore they also learnt how to enhance their analytical ability. The students came to know about many new things related to business and the corporate world. Also the students viewed situations from different perspectives and had an insight about how a company can take such important and stressful decisions.

‘All About LinkedIn’ (held on 20/01/2022)
“HUMANE” The HR Club of JIMS KALKAJI organised an online workshop related to LinkedIn. The workshop was held online on Google Meet . The purpose of conducting the workshop was to help freshers understand how to use Linkedin and how to build a profile on it . It was a very interactive and informative session. The students got to learn how to approach someone on Linkedin and with whom to make connections on Linkedin. The students came to know about many new things related to Linkedin like how to set up their profiles to make it more presentable, what all to include on the profile and what not to include.


‘Meme Madness’ (held on 16/01/2022)
“HUMANE” The HR Club of JIMS KALKAJI organized a meme making competition called ‘MEME MADNESS’ where students showcase their humor by making fun memes on any company regarding their loopholes etc. The competition was held online on Google Meet . The students had to first submit their memes on a Google Form after which the Top 20 memes were shortlisted for the next round for cross questioning. The students came to know about the history of certain companies as they did research on the company on which they made a meme. Here are our winners for the competition:

TRADING TREK (held on 04/03/2024):
TRADING TREK was an event conducted by finance club of JIMS Kalkaji, FINATIX in collaboration with STOCKGRO. It was an inter college event that took place in the auditorium of our college. All the participants entered by 9:00 am. Participants engaged in live trading activities, fostering practical skills in financial markets. Participants were competing by trading virtual money, enthusiastically engaged in buying and selling shares. This event helped in analyzing stocks and managing risks. A friendly atmosphere was created where everyone discussed and shared their thoughts. Trading competition also added a competitive edge to the event. The lively discussions continued, analyzing losses, gains and ranking fluctuations. Day 2 carried forward the enthusiasm from where day 1 left off. Students were actively investing, discussing which shares were yielding profits or losses. And then after 3pm the final results were announced, unveiling the top 3 ranks. 1 st Rank – Siddhesh Giri 2 nd Rank – Sankalp Chhabra 3 rd Rank – Deepesh kumar .


Cracking the stock market code (held on 10/10/2023):
FINATIX- The Finance club of JIMS Kalkaji organized a seminar on the topic ”Stock Market” featuring Mrs. Meena Verma as the distinguished guest speaker. The venue was The Auditorium of JIMS Kalkaji. Meena Verma, a seasoned professional holding the prestigious titles of Chartered Accountant (CA) and Certified Management Accountant (CMA) in the USA, enlightened the audience with her expertise in the world of finance. Not only that, She is a celebrated book author and a prominent YouTuber, where she shares her profound knowledge of financial matters with a global audience. Her extensive experience and dedication to the field of finance make her a highly credible and influential figure. In the seminar, students get an introduction and explanation on the Risk and Profit Relationship, Stock Market as an inflation-Beating Strategy, Portfolio Management and Returns and many other practical aspects of Share Market. She also emphasized the age-old wisdom of not putting all one's eggs in one basket. She stressed that the markets operate not just on data but also on emotions. Attendees learned about the importance of emotional control in investment decisions.

FINFEUD (held on 18/09/2023):
FINATIX- The Finance club of JIMS Kalkaji organized an event on the topic” FINFEUD” where individuals will be participating. The event was organized based on the knowledge of an engaging and insightful Finance Quiz that will challenge the participants understanding of AI in Finance. In the event, maximum 12 participants have participated and for answering, the host will speak the question and the first who raise the hands first will get the turn and every answer will get +10 points and for the wrong answer, it will be -5 and 0 points if know one knows the answer of the question. The winner of the event will be awarded with certificates. The venue was F2 and the judge were Riya Punyani who is the President of The Finance Club of JIMS Kalkaji. The participation in the event were individuals and the Mode of conduct is offline. The winners of the FINFEUD were Kashish with 38 points in first place and in second place is Tejas Bhadana with 36 points and in Third place is Nitin R with 30 points.

Weekly Catch Up Session (held on 24/04/2023):
“Career In Finance”, a learning session was conducted by the finance club of JIMS, Kalkaji, FINATIX. The event was intra Club i.e., only students of Finatix were allowed to participate in the Session. The event took place offline in the conference room. All the participants had entered by 12:00 pm.The session was hosted by the president and core team of FINATIX wherein several topics were discussed which included ( but not limited to):
Climate change and how economies are affected by it, working of the banking system and how the Silicon Valley bank went bankrupt, how much are we dependent on oil? How are current geopolitical events giving us an advantage or disadvantage, Also, I an app called strategic IQ (by world economic forum) was introduced that would cover most of their world GK. The session was very much interactive and the students not only enjoyed the session but were able to increase their knowledgebase in the respective field.

An Informative Session on ‘Career In Finance’ (held on 16/03/2023):
An informative Session and discussion on the topic ‘Career In Finance’ was conducted by the FINATIX -Finance club of JIMS, Kalkaji on 16th March 2023 in the college campus. The event was intra college i.e., only students of JIMS Kalkaji were allowed to participate in the Session.The event took place offline in the auditorium.All the participants had entered by 12:00 pm.The seminar was hosted by the event organizers of FINATIX featuring our guest speaker Mr. Avinash Gaurav, associate at PwC, of the company FinChase, an initiative taken up by skilled and competent professionals to teach training programs in finance. He started with his journey and experience in the field of finance and how it helped him gain his current position. He then proceeded to talk about the various of career options in finance and further explained their benefits such as high earning potential, balanced lifestyle, job security and quick growth in career. The most demanded career options in finance being industrial banking, equity research, corporate finance, asset management and commercial banking were elaborated on during the seminar. Mr. Gaurav also emphasized the importance of financial modeling and valuation. Towards the end of the session a quiz was conducted and the top 3 winners were offered gift hampers by FinChase. The session proved to be very informative.

An Informative Session on ‘Open Network for Digital Commerce’ (held on 15/06/2022):
An informative Session and discussion on the topic ‘Open Network for Digital Commerce’ was conducted by the FINATIX -Finance club of JIMS, Kalkaji on 15th June 2022 in the college campus. The event organizers of FINATIX club hosted the event. The main topic of discussion was ONDC- Open Network for Digital Commerce. The students also discussed about various IPO’s currently introduced in the market. Towards the end the participants also discussed about Fibonacci sequence. The overall discussion proved to be quite informative and interesting as the students got to learn quite a lot from the participant speakers.

Meet and Greet - What would happen if 1 Rupee equals 1 Dollar (held on 25/03/2022):
“Meet and greet”, a finance discussion event was conducted by the finance club of JIMS, Kalkaji, FINATIX. The event was intra JIMS i.e. only students of JIMS Kalkaji were allowed to participate in the quiz competition. The event took place in the FT 1 room of JIMS Kalkaji. All the participants had joined the meeting by 2:00 pm. The event organizers of FINATIX club hosted the event. The students had to initially discuss the outcome of ‘What would happen if 1 Rupee equals 1 Dollar’ and give out the facts of the matter. Students were later divided into a group of 5 in order to discuss among each other and provide a concluding statement. The overall discussion proved to be quite informative and interesting as the impact over the economy and financial condition of India was discussed as well. After the conclusion, the event came to a close after the closing statements by Sukirti Nigam and Prabhat kataria....

FINQUEST - A QUIZ COMPETITION (held on 10/02/2022):
“Finquest”, a finance quiz event was conducted by the finance club of JIMS, Kalkaji, FINATIX. The event was intra JIMS. The event took place on Google Meet. The event organizers of FINATIX club hosted the event. The quiz was played on Kahoot app. Participants had to enter a unique pin id shared with them by the host. The questions were screen shared. Participants were given 30 seconds to attempt each question. And our host, repeated each question in order to avoid confusion. After the completion of round 1 our host declared the name of top 3 participants. All the contestants then moved to round 2 of the quiz. Only the winners from round 1 and round 2 were allowed to play round 3 of the quiz. The event turned out to be successful and the efforts of the finance team who organized the event led to great and fun event. Winners are :

ARREARAGE - A DEBATE COMPETITION (held on 28/01/2022):
“ARREARAGE”, a debate competition event was conducted by the finance club of JIMS, Kalkaji, FINATIX. The theme of this exciting and breath-taking event was “Debt-Scary or Beneficial”. The event was intra JIMS. The event took place on Google Meet. Mr. Aryan hosted and organized the event. At first, he made sure that all the rules were clear to all of the participants by repeating them once again. After the completion of both the sides i.e., for and against, there was a group discussion round where all participants had the freedom to question their opposite team members..

FINFARE - A ppt competition (held on 6/12/2021):
“FINFARE”, a PowerPoint presentation event was conducted by the finance club, FINATIX of JIMS,Kalkaji. An event which helped the participants to analyse a particular company's financial position. The event was lively and informative. Each and every team presented in a sublime and immaculate manner.


VYAPAAR - A quiz competition (held on 30/10/2021)
“VYAPAAR”, a finance quiz event was conducted by the finance club of JIMS, Kalkaji, FINATIX. The theme of this exciting and breath-taking event was Budget 2021. The event was intra JIMS i.e. only students of JIMS Kalkaji were allowed to participate in the quiz competition. Event helps in knowing the Pillars of budget 2021 of India, Awareness of Budget of India among the students.

Group Discussion - Students Suicide - The Root Cause (held on 06/05/2022) ,On 6th May 2022, the Debating Club of JIMS, Kalkaji organised a group discussion session on the topic “Students Suicide – The root cause’.The students came together for a healthy discussion. Many arguments were presented for this topic. The main aim was to find out the root cause and solutions for students suicides.

Group Discussion - The Recent War between Russia & Ukraine (held on 20/03/2022) , On 20th March 2022, Group Discussion was organised on the topic “The RecentWar between Russia and Ukraine” by the Debating Club, JIMS Kalkaji. The motive of this group discussion is to observe personality and skills, leadership quality, thinking capacity and confidence. Overall, the discussion was positive because all the participants contributed good information and everyone listened with the utmost interest when other members were sharing their ideas. Speaking in group discussion is gradually bringing everyone mainstream by boosting their self-confidence. Points discussed in the group discussion were like “Why did Russia invade Ukraine, what impact can it have on India’s Economy, why India’s implicit support to Russia on Ukraine war is a strategic blunder”, etc.

Extempore - Minute to Win (held on 12/02/2022) , On 12th February 2022, an extempore competition ‘MINUTE TO WIN’ was organised by the Debating club of JIMS, Kalkaji on Google meet. The aim of this competition was to hone public speaking skills and teach them to articulate their thoughts and expressions.The participants delivered their speeches with great confidence and left no stone unturned to give in their best on the topics they got. They were asked to present their views in the time slot of 2 minutes. The competition concluded successfully with great words of encouragement and appreciation from the respected judge. The participation was received from various colleges such as Xavier Institute of Management, IIM Vishakhapatnam, Daulat Ram college, etc.

Debate: Should Page 3 Personalities be Our Role Model? (held on 08/01/2022) , The Debating Club oj JIMS Kalkaji, COMMUNICON, organised a debate competition on 8 January, 2022. The main aim to conduct this debate was to find out the impact a role model plays in an individual's life. The role models could be different for different individuals, be it a film star, sports person, news anchor etc. We tend to get inspired by that personality and improve ourselves the way they do. The participants were able to develop and learn the healthy debating skills.

Group Discussion : Cashless Society (held on 27/12/2021) , The world is going cashless. People are using online modes of payment to transfer and use their money. Keeping this thought in mind a group discussion activity was organised by the Debating Club of JIMS Kalkaji, COMMUNICON, on the topic 'Cashless Society' on 27 December, 2021. Going cashless has its ease like no need to carry physical currency notes and coins, easy transfer digital record etc but has its own demerits like chances of fraud, untimely transactions and lack of confidential information.

Group Discussion : Expectations Kills Happiness (held on 05/12/2021) , The Co-Curricular Club of JIMS, Kalkaji, COMMUNICON, organised a group discussion activity on the topic " Expectations Kills Happiness" on 5 December, 2021. The topic was taken keeping in mind the vast expectations that people have and when they do not get fulfilled, they tend to lose the morale and their happy faces lose the smiles. Thus, its better to keep self expectations rather than keeping expectations from others. Self resilience and morality is the key to success for any individual. Expect but only to a certain level should be the mantra.

Debate: Does College Education Helps You Get Job? (held on 11/09/2021), Debate: Does College Education Helps You Get Job? The Co-Curricular Club of JIMS Kalkaji, COMMUNICON, organised a debate session on the topic 'Does College Education Helps You Get Job?' on 11 September, 2021. The main idea to conduct this session was to find that is it truly necessary to be successful that one needs higher education or self education can also help. It was mixed response. some tend to believe that one needs to equip themselves with practical knowledge more whereas in a lot of professions formal education is required. Thus it depends on a person's hard work what his success is going to be.

Workshop on Basics of Photography:13 january,2023: PIXELLENCE, the photography society organized a workshop on the ‘Basics of Photography’ on 13th January, 2023 where Mr. Yash Gupta (Founder of Pixellence) was invited. The participants were briefed not only about the manual but also technical know-hows of a camera. From basics like ISO, shutter speed and aperture to what kinds of shots to take like panning shots and frame- in -frame shots were explained in depth as we could feel it coming from experience.....

Photowalk to Chandni Chowk:24 December,2022: PIXELLENCE has organised a Photowalk to Chandni Chowk on December 24, 2022. The members observed and tried to capture the emotions and feelings of others. They captured a shot that could tell a story in a single frame. Members were briefed on how to take such photographs as well as basic technical terms.....

Photowalk to Lotus Temple- 09 September, 2022: Pixellence, the Photography Club of JIMS Kalkaji, conducted a Photowalk on 09 September, 2022, wherein the participants took shots beyond their creativity.The photo walk had 15 participants and they all contributed with their creativity and talent to make this activity a success...

Guest Lecture With Chris Gomes On Landscape Photography & Basic Editing - 16th July, 2022 Pixellence hosted a live online guest lecture with Chris Gomes on landscape photography and basic editing on 16th July 2022, on Google meet. Chris Gomes has taken various photography sessions and has over 30k Instagram followers. various topics such as landscape photography, the pros and cons of mobile camera and a professional camera like a DSLR , picture composition and fixing, how to fix the frame, etc. Mr. Chris Gomes also demonstrated how to identify an object for a photograph and how to get the finest shot out of it. students had a wonderful learning experience. The session was attended by 15 students...

Online Product Photography Competition- 12th June to 20th June, 2022 Pixellence organized an online Product photography competition. This competition was inter JIMS where entries were allowed from different colleges as well. The google form for the entries were out on 12th June 2022 and the deadline was 20th June 2022. The Participants were charged a registration fee of 30 rs. There were 11 responses in total for the competition. The judgment and decision for the winners were taken by the faculty members, president and vice president. The results were declared on 23rd June 2022 on the Instagram page of Pixellence and first, second and third winners were given a cash prize of 150rs, 100rs and 50rs respectively.....

Session On Editing With Snapseed On The Date: 25th May, 2022 Time : 7 PM - 8 PM, Venue: Google Meet : Mitul Kapoor, President of Pixellence took a session on editing with Snapseed on the date: 25th May, 2022 Time : 7 PM - 8 PM, Venue: Google Meet. Number of participants: 10. He taught about the various elements of Snapseed which we can use to enhance the clicked picture. The session was very informative. We can use the smoothening, sharpening, perspective, Headpose, Tiltshift, Saturation, etc. tools for editing the picture. We can also use the colour temperature tool to make changes with a particular colour. The application is free and can be downloaded from AppStore or PlayStore......

Spot Photography Competition – Drishti at 11.a.m : Pixellence organized the spot photography competition – Drishti at 11.a.m The participants were given a time of two hours for the three themes that were, Creative Portrait, Lines and Symmetry, Street. The participants were allowed to go around the campus areas and click pictures on the given theme and the deadline of submitting the entries was 2 p.m. through google form. All the winners who secured 1st Position were awarded with a cash prize of Rs. 1000 (each) and a trophy (each) & those who secured 2nd Position were awarded with a physical certificate.....

Photography Webinar By Mr. Virendra Adhikari on 'From Camera to Creativity - A Complete Process Of Making A Photograph" (held on 11/12/2021) , Pixellence, the photography society of JIMS Kalkaji organized a webinar on the theme ‘From Camera to Creativity’ on 11 December, 2021. The discussion was held by Mr. Virendra Adhikari which included many topics related to photography. The session was helpuful and help to get insights about how to select a subject and to know why imagination is the key. It was a very informative session. The participants got to learn about several things such as Rule of third and the different types of accessories to be used which capturing a photograph. The conclusion was that ‘ a good composition makes any image beautiful’ .

A PhotoWalk To Yamuna Ghat (held on 17/11/2021) , JPixellence, the Photography Club of JIMS Kalkaji, conducted a Photowalk on 17 November, 2021, wherein the participants took shots beyond their creativity. An eye of detailed composition, their creativity and imagination were reflected through the shots taken.Indeed the event was an eye opener, and helped develop the skills to the fullest..

Pixellence videography competition, Theme : (1) Timelapse (2) Travel Reel (3) Reels With Facts, with the Last Date of registration: 23rd October 2021 , The participants were required to make a video of the duration 5s to 1minute. An eye of detailed composition, their creativity and imagination were reflected through the videos made. There were 3 themes given to the participants- Timelapse, Travel Reel and Reels with facts. Indeed the event was an eye opener, Among 13 participants it was an onerous task to decide the position holder...

Visit To Museo camera centre for the photographic arts (held on 18/09/2021) , Art helps us see with new eyes what we knew was there but never really recognized. We photograph not to record or document—but rather, to capture and hold, just for a moment, the essence of what exists beyond the scene. Pixellence, The Photography Club of JIMS Kalkaji, conducted a visit to Museo Camera Centre on 18 September, 2021, wherein the participants gained knowledge about the generation of cameras. Students gained immense knowledge regarding photographic arts which was indeed a site to behold.All the participants who participated in this event made it a lively affair.

Photowalk At Humayun's Tomb (held on 27/07/2021) , JIMS Kalkaji Photography club, PIXELLENCE, organized a photowalk to Humanyun’s Tomb on 27 July,2021. Humanyun’s Tomb is one of the appealing monuments that sprinkle the Persian effects in its architectural style and was made by Mirak Mirza Ghiyath on the wish of Hamida Banu Begum, in the remembrance of her husband Mughal Emperor Humayun. All the students who took part in the event showed great interest, were creative and enthusiastic while taking the shots..

Webinar on Basics Of Videography by Mr. Punit Sabnani (held on 12/06/2021) , The Webinar was organised by PIXELLENCE, the Photography society of JIMS, Kalkaji.The session was organised on 12 June, 2021 on the topic “Basics of Videography” by Mr. Punit Sabnani. Mr Punit Sabnani is a photo and video mentor at Sony India and 2 times world record holder.


International Biodiversity Day (held on 22/05/2021) , On the occasion of INTERNATIONAL BIODIVERSITY DAY, a photography competition was organized on 22nd of May 2021. The topic for the same was “BIODIVERSITY ”the entire core team of the photography club along with the HOD and faculty coordinators worked as a well-oiled machine to make this event a success. We successfully experienced participation of more than 45-50 from all different colleges across Delhi and India.
