RAYONNER'22



Rayonner 2022, a saga of management competitions organized to give platform to students from across different colleges and universities to showcase their talent and up-skill themselves.
Rayonner 2022, a inter-college management festival event has been conducted on 20th April 2022, where in 9 management societies has conceptualised events to provide ample opportunities to students to focus on academic exploration through group socialization, external interaction and gregariousness. It was the most awaited fest of JIMS Kalkaji where in students came out of their watertight compartment and worked together This event provided exposure to students on current trends in corporate world. Here is the brief for the events conducted by all management societies as follows:


1. FINWORLD conducted by FINATIX (Finance Society) :
“Finworld”, a Fund Allocation event was conducted by the finance club of JIMS, Kalkaji, FINATIX. The event was inter-collegei.e. students of different colleges were allowed to participate in the Session. The event took place in s4. All the participants had joined the event by 3:30 pm. The event organizers of FINATIX club hosted the event. The students had to initially discuss the outcome of Financial literacy and give out the facts of the matter.Students were later divided into a group in order to discuss among each other and provide a Portfolio. The overall discussion proved to be quite informative and interesting as the impact over the economy and financial condition of India was discussed aswell, the event was judged by Astha Ma’am andOshin Juan - an Alumni of JIMS KALKAJI. After the conclusion, the event came to a close after the closing statements by Aryan Mishra. The event was successfully conducted and we ended it around 4:30 p.m. with proper maintained decorum during the whole event.


2. INQUISITION – A Cross Questioning Debate conducted by COMMUNICON (Debate Society):
“Communicon” the Debating society of BBA & B.COM(H) Department, JIMS KALKAJI organized an event ‘INQUISITION’ under RAYONNER- The Management Fest of JIMS Kalkaji wherein the students in the first round were given 03:00 minutes to prepare for an extempore of their respective topics. The students who qualified for round 2 were given a topic for debate. There were 18 participants on the day of the event. The winners received trophies, certificates and a cash prize of Rs 2000 and Rs 1000 for the Frst and second position winners respectively. Overall this was a very successful, engaging and knowledgeable event with immense passion and enthusiasm amongst students.


3. PR-PUNDIT Conducted by MARKRAZE (Marketing Society): An offline event was organized by The Marketing Society: MARKRAZE of JIMS, Kalkaji on 20th April, 2022 at 02:00 p.m. in the form of a competition that revolved around creating campaigns from scratch. The event was judged by Ms.Malika Bhutani and Ms. Kavleen Bindra. The event was conducted with just one round, where the participants were provided with a company from a variety of industries like FMCG, automobiles, electronics, media and entertainment, and startups and the participants had to plan and devise a Marketing-PR strategy. The response from the students was exciting, and the students were actively participating. The event was attended by students from various colleges.


4. Ad-Shala Conducted by NSS and Rotaract club (PRAYAAS Club):
As a part of Rayonner '22 (Inter institute fest organized by JIMS Kalkaji) PRAYAAS, the NSS and Rotaract club of JIMS Kalkaji (BBA & B.Com Department) conducted an advertisement making competition- Ad-Shala. The participants made 2 min advertisement on any social issue of their choice and then presented their advertisements in front of the judges.A total of 22 teams registered for the event from different colleges Lady Sri Ram College, IITM, IGNOU, GGSIPU and the participants brought to light different topics like soil conversation, rape, suicides etc. The event turned out to be very interesting and engaging.

The winners were rewarded with Trophy, certificates and cash prizes of Rs 2000 and 1000 respectively.


5. Eccentric conducted by HUMNAE (HR Club):
HUMANE” The HR Club of JIMS KALKAJI organized an event named ‘Eccentric’ under RAYONNER- the Management Fest of JIMS Kalkaji, 2022 wherein two rounds were held. In the first round, the students were asked to prepare presentations on the designated job profile, and based on that cross-questioning was done. Round 2 consisted of extempore in which qualified students were asked to prepare on a given HR topic within 2 minutes of preparation time. A total of 30 registrations came from different colleges namely, JIMS Vasant Kunj, GL Bajaj, Delhi University, NDIM, etc. There were 16 participants on the day of the event. The winners received trophies, certificates, and a cash prize of Rs.2000 and Rs.1000 for the first and second positions respectively. Overall it was a successful engaging, and knowledgeable event with immense passion and enthusiasm amongst the students.

6. Investors Pitch A Business Plan conducted by E Cell (ENTREPRENEUR Society) :
“PRAYOGSHALA ” The ENTREPRENEUR Society Of JIMS KALKAJI Organized An Event Named ‘INVESTORS PITCH’ Under RAYONNER- The Management Fest Of JIMS Kalkaji. It Was Organized On 20th April 2022 From 11pm-2pm , Wherein The Participants Were To Present An Business Idea Of Their Own, The Conditions Were The Idea Should Be Unique , Socially Acceptable And Profitable . There Were Total Of 12 Teams (Total Participants 26) On The Day Of Event. 22/26 Participation Was From Outside the Campus. It Was A Very Insightful, Interactive As Well A Very Knowledgeable Event.


7. Spot Photography Competition conducted by Pixellence(Photography Club):
Pixellence organized the spot photography competition – Drishti The participants were given a time of two hours for the three themes that were, Creative Portrait, Lines and Symmetry, Street. The participants were allowed to go around the campus areas and click pictures on the given theme and the deadline of submitting the entries was 2 p.m. through google form. All the winners who secured 1st Position were awarded with a cash prize of Rs. 1000 (each) and a trophy (each) & those who secured 2nd Position were awarded with a physical certificate.....
